Outdoor Education

Juanita Elementary School has one of the longest running Outdoor Education programs in the Lake Washington School District. We offer this opportunity to all 5th grade students and we are proud of that tradition.  Our school has partnered with IslandWood to provide your child with a once in a lifetime learning adventure that they’ll never forget.  This trip always comes up as one of the most memorable, profound moments during elementary school.

Students who participate in the School Overnight Program are steeped in exploration of the natural world, giving real-life meaning to academic learning while deepening of their environment. They are able to strengthen their bond between friends and the school.

Fall Information Night is coming soon!  Watch your inbox for the upcoming meeting date.
